My sculpture is always responding to the shifting narratives of my life.

These shifts become pivot points which send me in new directions. Materials are chosen for 

their ability to narrate the next chapter. A case in point is the Altered Books series; damaged 

books were unbound, freeing me to collaborate with the author in a rewrite, a restructure,

and transformation of the story.
